Bio
Atefeh Nafari, born in 1981, began her creative journey writing short stories for Dragonfly magazine. Her fascination with visual storytelling led her to pursue cinema, completing screenwriting and directing courses at Karnameh, Shahid-saless, Clap, Ava, and Art University. In 2017, she entered the film industry by writing a television mini-series and has since written two animated series, four short film scripts, and a feature film. Alongside her friend Samira Mokhtari, she co-wrote and directed 3.400kg, a project reflecting their resolve to overcome personal and creative challenges.
Synopsis
A middle-aged woman struggling with obesity faces a critical decision when her pursuit of a life-changing gastric bypass surgery takes an unexpected turn. On the verge of qualifying for the insurance-covered procedure, she suffers a debilitating stroke. Now, she must make a life-altering choice: follow a strict diet to prevent another stroke or consume high-fat foods to reach the weight required by her insurance, further endangering her health.
