SYNOPSIS

The “Heimatfilm” compilation presents the essence of the German Heimatfilm genre. Sentimental films set in an idealized rural environment. The outline of the films is simple: it's a love story that ends up ending well, following a few misunderstandings and the appearance of a bad guy.

“Heimatfilm” follows this plot, edited from 50 films.
